The IFA Alpenrose Hotel is situated in the Austrian valley of Kleinwalsertal, at an altitude of between 1,100 and 1,250 metres, is surrounded by thirty peaks, which make it an ideal place for skiing and - once the winter season is over - for trekking, climbing or mountain-biking. Mittelberg is the highest town in Kleinwalsertal constituting an Alpine scenery of unparalleled beauty.
This family ambience hotel offers 100 rooms of various sizes according to guests’ needs, as well as several family rooms, all giving splendid views over the valley or the mountains.
Children and young teenagers can enjoy the special programmes of games and excursions available during school holiday times. Mittelberg has a number of ski and snowboarding schools where both children and adults can learn the basic skills or perfect their technique.
Opportunities for sports activities are not limited to those in the surrounding areas. Throughout the year the hotel itself offers sessions of aquagym in the indoor swimming pool and fitness programmes in the gymnasium. Sauna, Turkish baths and UVA treatments are all available, as well as different massages and health and beauty treatments, which will help you recover from the day’s exertions.
