Quinta Perestrello is a lovely little hotel in a truly privileged position. Tasteful and sympathetic modernisation has certainly not diminished the unique charm and welcoming ambience that is usually associated with these historic old manor house hotels.
The manor house, surrounded by lovingly maintained gardens, was carefully restored and the high ceilings of the rooms as well as the furnishings still reflect Madeira’s traditional architecture and interior decorating style of the old days.
This charming hotel, Quinta Perestrello, is the ideal place for all those who appreciate individuality and cosiness of a small hotel but who still want to be close to the centre of all happenings.

In the Quinta Perestrello the details really make the difference! At the arrival the guests are surprised with a private check-in in their room as well as a welcome gift and throughout their stay the guests can expect this continuous special and attentive service.
The Vimala Chandra SPA with Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, relaxation room with panoramic view, Vichy-shower, sensation shower, fitness room and many other treats is also available at Quinta das Vistas Palace Gardens in Funchal.
The Quinta Perestrello offers in total 36 double rooms (2 with Queen size beds and 34 with twin beds), out of which 12 are situated in the main house and the remaining 24 rooms, all with terrace or balcony offering garden or pool view, are in the new wing.
All rooms are equipped with marble bathrooms (bath/shower and hair dryer), air conditioning and heating, private safe (daily charge), direct dial telephone, cable TV with 24 channels and windows with double-glazing.
Furthermore there is a heated swimming pool, a sun terrace and a terrace sitting area, a cocktail bar and a set menu restaurant for hotel guests.

Quinta do Perestrello is located in the most prestigious hotel area of Funchal and enjoys easy access to the sights and special places that make this small, friendly city such a desirable destination.
From the Quinta, a 15 minute walk to the east will bring you to the Marina and the oceanfront promenade that leads to the cable car and Old Quarter. Just 10 minutes to the west lies the lovely Lido, complete with salt-water swimming pools, bars, cafés and restaurants. A little further is the famous Praia Formosa, one of Funchal's public beaches. The Perestrello is indeed ideally placed.
The public bus stops for buses to the city centre and other destinations in the western part of the island can be reached within 2 minutes by foot. The hotel also provides free parking.
