The Costa Brava is on the Northern coast of Catalonia, extending from Portbou to Blanes. Its range of different scenery is a pleasure to see in all its changing diversity as we move along the coast.
Travelling from North to South, we recommend a visit to the magnificent scenery of Cadaqués and the Salvador Dalí house museum at Portlligat; the fortifications at Roses, the Greek and Roman ruins at Empúries, Medes islands (l’Estartit), the mediaeval villages Pals and Peratallada, the botanical gardens at Blanes, Lloret de Mar and Calella de Palafrugell; and, of course, the all of the beaches along the coast.
There are numerous activities linked to the Costa Brava. We recommend a visit to Dalí Museum at Figueres and the Cinema Museum at Girona together with a strool round the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter and the cathedral in Girona.
